In my opinion, the house is not optimally planned. I have a few questions and suggestions - because some things are not quite clear to me. Why is there such a narrow gap between the house & garage - that will create a dirt pit and anyone can simply stroll from the front door into your garden. Is that desired? You don’t have a window on that side anyway. Have you thought about the lighting of the hallway? I would also omit the niche and not place the door hinge so close to the wall - you will want to move furniture into the house at some point. The mini pantry or whatever it is supposed to be is really impractical in design - every tall cabinet has more storage space - go to a kitchen studio, there are great solutions and inspirations by now. I find the layout of the dining area and living room awkwardly chosen - the sofa blocks the door and there is nothing more unpleasant than having a window behind you when sitting. You waste an incredible amount of wall space with the placement of doors and windows. I am not an architect - but I suspect that the staircase is too steep and actually protrudes further into the room. Regarding the upper floor - the toilet should be in the bathroom relatively close to the door, you use the toilet more often than you bathe. The bathtub under the window - do you have a large property or do you want to present your whole glory to the environment when getting in and out? I think it’s great to be able to look out of the window while bathing - but you have to keep that in mind. The same applies to the toilet. I would try to make the children’s rooms similarly sized and think about where the desk should go - currently it has no place. I wouldn’t place the master bedroom between the children’s rooms. I get the impression that no professional was involved.
