So making the wall of the dressing room load-bearing is, in my opinion, easily possible. I was also somehow under the impression that it could be included in the pitched roof as a wooden construction. But I have not yet spoken to any carpenter and the structural engineer is still pending. As I said, it is just a draft for now. But anyway, of course I will keep you updated. Regards Marco

With us, the entire intermediate wall is load-bearing. The gable itself is timber frame construction. I just want to point that out. Maybe I’m wrong.

Well, I think the floor plan is still very undeveloped. The ground floor is quite appealing, but what bothers me is that you can't open the terrace doors in the living room. If it's supposed to be furnished like this, I might as well install fixed glazing/windows.

The upper floor is a small disaster. You can basically throw away the guest room. The bathroom isn’t exactly a wellness temple either, with its shallow depth and the awkward maneuvering around the sink. Very claustrophobic. Also, Child1 sleeps right next to the parents' bedroom with their ear pressed against it – so the clarification takes care of itself.
The whole shed roof discussion makes the situation very vague anyway. It's not yet clear how much light will fall into the upstairs hallway.

I took a quick look at it. I haven't found a satisfactory alternative at short notice either. The attractive "bend" in the house wall becomes a curse upstairs. With the stairway and this bend, two important walls are fixed. The rooms are therefore quite inflexible. Maybe someone still has an idea. So far, I have only come up with the following layout without a dressing room.

Aha, you want to open the hallway upstairs: then you have two ugly steps above the stairs and bathroom door instead of a straight wall all the way up where the window is located.
