The question is ... are there already 2 cars? Why the wide driveway?

One could also consider isolating the sofa/TV area and combining cooking/eating, then you wouldn’t need 2 tables, one of which would mostly go unused anyway.

Bathroom and guest WC ... one could maybe design it so that the bathroom WC is located in a way that it can be accessed both from the hallway as a guest WC and from the bathroom as a bathroom WC, separated towards the bathroom with a sliding door. That way you save one WC.

Are there actually any regulations regarding building lines or ridge alignments or eave heights etc.?

Kerstin, I can't imagine any relevant specifications. Building lines are very rare nowadays and - just look at the neighboring buildings, everything is permitted there. Building boundaries are usually only the 3 meters surrounding an area.

But then you might as well skip this room altogether. The second toilet is after all the purpose of a guest toilet.

The purpose of such a solution is that guests only have to enter the WC area. I cannot immediately think of a graphical solution for it in the current constellation either.

However, due to other concerns, such as the sun's path and its effects on the rooms, I am not 100% convinced by the current layout anyway. The division and planning of the rooms etc. are okay, but in connection with the sun position etc., I currently find the solution not suitable yet.

I haven’t read everything now but just two thoughts: 1. If you are building, forget about the beds. They will be history anyway. If you want to save something there, better dig it up and bring it to safety. 2. If the attic expansion is supposed to be optional, the stairs can initially be omitted. Then better just plan the space for it and use the room, for example, as a storage room for the time being. For that, a straight staircase is of course less suitable than, for example, a half-turned one.

... the beds are part of the road construction/road system and therefore their place must probably be taken into account. See photo:
