I did write that. But apparently no one is asking? The house is mega big without getting the right added value out of it. The 3.20 in the living room? What is the corner for if you don't want to furnish it? Where is the workspace in the kitchen if you put food, fridge, and oven in tall cabinets? What is the rest in the open space for, which doesn't really know where it belongs? Will TV be broadcast over 5.70 or 3.20? Should everything and everyone go through the living room when something has to be taken from the utility room? 180 sqm x 2000€ = 360,000 without painter/floors for energy saving regulation and plaster. Everything that is lower is still paid for during construction. Additional upgrades.

Gladly, our previous attempts with an elongated floor plan unfortunately all failed miserably. The street to the north is a small private road; besides us, there are four other residents, three of whom are only there on weekends. So there is virtually no through traffic. The street to the east is a dead end that ends directly at our property and the forest. So also no relevant through traffic; when the planes from BER are not flying, woodpeckers are the only ones making noise.

Should the entrance / driveway be from the dead-end street or the private road? Does it not matter? In the first attempt, the garage/carport ended up on the private road. But there will surely be a place for it ;-) .

Access is via the private road at the western end, unfortunately there are several street trees on the public road which we are not allowed to cut down. Only a small gate will be installed there.

I will provide a sketch tomorrow. The 3.20 corner in the living room is supposed to become the TV corner. A large dining table is to be placed between the kitchen island and the TV corner. The piano goes on the wall to the hallway. I’ll try drawing tomorrow.
