Dear forum members,
I have been reading along for quite a while and find the great advice fantastic. It has also immensely helped us with our new floor plan.
We are building our second house in Austria since the first one is a bit too small and would be very happy about any constructive criticism.

Plot size: 590m²
Slope: no
Site coverage ratio: max. 206m² buildable
Floor area ratio: does not exist in AT, 6.5m height
Building window, building line and boundary
Edge development: coupled construction on right neighbor
Number of parking spaces: 2
Number of floors: 2 full floors
: flat roof
Style: modern
Orientation: south
Maximum heights/limits: 6.5m, 206m² buildable, 100m² additionally for carport, storage rooms, bicycles etc.

Style, roof form, building type: modern, flat roof
Basement, floors: ground floor, upper floor without basement
Number of persons, age: 2 adults, 3 children (5, 2, on the way)
Space requirements on ground and upper floors: approx. 120m²
Office: family use or home office? one room on ground floor for workspace and guests
Overnight guests per year: very often (my wife’s family comes to visit quite often from abroad)
Open or closed architecture: open
Conservative or modern construction: modern

What do you particularly like? Why? open living room with gallery, dining room and large kitchen facing south, lots of light, large carport, outdoor kitchen as an extension to the dining area for summer
What don’t you like? Why? we are uncertain about the lighting in the children’s rooms due to west and north windows
Price estimate according to architect/planner: 1000k without ancillary building costs
Personal price limit for the house, including equipment: 1000k
Preferred heating technology: air heat pump in the utility room
If you have to do without, which details/extensions
-can you do without: spa area with sauna and jacuzzi, possibly gallery in living room
-can’t do without: living room, dining room, bedroom with dressing room
Why did the design turn out the way it is now? e.g.
Corresponding/which wishes were implemented by the architect
