Overall, I have to come back to the (interior) size, meaning the living area; the rooms are not spacious on their own, but rather somewhat above average in size. Everywhere 1-2 sqm more, bedroom and living area a bit more, but nothing noteworthy. The spa with over 25 sqm and the open space are the main features (although I don’t know if the open space was included in the calculation). Storage and stock space are lacking.

I've been reading along for quite a while and find the great advice super. It has also helped us tremendously with our new floor plan.
We are building our second house in Austria because the first one is a bit too small and would be very happy about any constructive criticism.

one should draw their current apartment and mark bottlenecks or places that could be improved in it. Then one should compare their wishes and framework conditions to see if the sausage-counter question can be answered with "yes."

I always advise my coaching clients to draw their current apartment and mark the bottlenecks and other points for wishes to a fairy godmother.
