I currently have no suggestions about it, I just want to "leave a greeting": he was a great architect, I find the ensemble of the non-cloned triplet houses very charming. What many will hardly see today: that was not only quite modern for 1914, but downright avant-garde.

Why not plan the main entrance at the back? The residents will use that door the most anyway. WC, entrance with wardrobe in the former bathroom and the rest open. On the upper floor Bedroom remains bedroom, the cramped room becomes dressing room the other chamber becomes bathroom. Attic two rooms possibly with dormer and attic storage room.

I also have a suggestion

EG:
Shower toilet to the back left, but rotated. Existing door can be used. So just extend the wall between hallway and living room.
Only problem: the window.

Divide the large room and the rest into dining, kitchen, and living room. If you use the chimney as a design element and open up the rest, it will be a stylish room.

But you could also leave the wall standing to the right of the chimney.
Kitchen then to the back with a small dining area. Possibly a rear exit from the kitchen to the garden with a roof... that will be a nice open kitchen. The living room is big enough to function as a passageway.

OG: turn the dressing wall 90 degrees, parallel to the east wall. Use the original door to the bedroom.
The office would be an open unit in front of the dressing room. Or you close it, but I don’t think that’s necessary. It feels more spacious without an additional wall, tenants will love the parent floor.
DG: is ok.

Nice house, I would rent it like this if it were the way I would do it. The kitchen with black and white checkerboard, white modern lacquer kitchen... such a mix from the old times combined with modern.

Unfortunately, only one window position is dimensioned in the plans (upper floor/bedroom) with a distance of 1.41m from the wall. Measured with a ruler, all main windows should have this 1.41m interior dimension from the respective exterior wall. The window width is approximately 1.25m each.

I will measure it exactly the next time I am on site. Probably combined with the first personal appointment at the monument office.

Hello haydee,
I will try sketching out the idea. The problem is that the postman, DHL, UPS, etc. will always stand at the front door, since it is closer to the street and clearly visible as the entrance. Having all of them standing directly in the living room is not ideal either.
On the upper floor, this results in an 18m2 bedroom with a 10m2 dressing room. That feels quite generous to me for a house of about 120m2 in total.

Sorry, I meant the sloping walls also refer to the DG, not the OG. I would definitely create storage spaces there with access, that already generates storage room. Vaulted cellar is great! Almost like a pantry a bit further away from the kitchen. And as I said: in case of emergency, the staircase can be used as a shoe storage.

I also really like the ensemble! I would definitely consider the dormer at the front and it can hardly be denied to you if the other two houses already have it like that.

If the office has the door to the balcony in the front, then I would close the window on the side of the dressing room. A widening of the balcony door almost jumps at you.

My advice (as often before, but especially here): find a good architect who has done this kind of thing several times and has therefore dealt with the responsible building authority (successfully!!!) several times. Such a person is able to get a lot out of it and then dormer and balcony door enlargement should be no problem.

Moving the walls: as long as it is not a particularly protected type of wall construction, you are not too restricted in the interior design. As said: a capable architect will get a lot out of it!

Nice project!
