Hey,

since I (still) don't have the questionnaire, here is just my first thought for now.

Why can the pantry only be accessed from the kitchen through three doors? Additionally, it has quite a generous size. Really necessary?

A dressing room without a window can work with appropriately planned lighting. It wouldn't be my choice, but I understand wanting a dressing room without a window in a bungalow.

Do the children's rooms still work with wider beds? 1.40m or wider is rather common when they get older.

Do you have a controlled residential ventilation system? Utility room (is laundry done there?) without a window I find problematic.

The kitchen is too narrow, the storage room [Vorratsraum] oversized.

Where is North?

I find the children's rooms directly in the entrance area suboptimal.
Depending on where North is, I would plan the pantry adjacent to the kitchen; then reduce the pantry size a bit and enlarge the kitchen.

Find a somewhat more enclosed solution for the children's area, right now everyone clatters past there and they leave the room and stand in the dirty airlock.

Utility room without light and instead access to the garage... hmm, as has been said here often, I can quite appreciate a door from the garage into a utility room, but not at any price. Usually that only works well if you have enough square meters available. Here I would aim for another solution.

Overall, this would not be my floor plan (but it already starts with the kitchen being separated from the living area and two dining areas would cost me too much space given the square meter count).

Make a door element in the hallway between the guest toilet and the children's room wall, then you have a sort of vestibule for taking off shoes, behind that it is then clean. Put the kitchen where the utility room and pantry are now, remove their separation, so that you get a really large eat-in kitchen. Think of something with the garage so that light comes in there. Put the technology in the current kitchen room. Possibly also washing machine and dryer there. Do without this storage room at the garage, rather build a staircase to the basement in the large hallway and then use it like a cellar. So my five cent. K.

So, now I am at the PC and can provide additional information...
Briefly about me, my name is Christian and together with my partner I am planning the construction of a new bungalow in the Voreifel.
We have already chosen the plot and are now just waiting for the appointment with the notary.
Here follows the checklist:

Development plan/restrictions
Plot size: approx. 690m²
Slope: none
Floor area ratio: 0.35
Plot ratio: -
Building window, building line and boundary: building field width 12.6m – depth on the narrow side 15m, other side 19m
Edge development: permitted
Number of parking spaces: at least 2
Number of storeys: 1.5
Roof shape: 0-20° roof pitch
Style direction: no specification
Orientation: no specification
Maximum height/limits: ridge height max. 5.5m
Further specifications

Requirements of the clients
Style direction, roof shape, building type: bungalow with flat roof
Basement, storeys: none, 1 storey
Number of people, age: 2 (31 years), 2 children planned
Space requirement on ground floor, upper floor: approx. 150-160 m²
Office: family use or home office? Partly both
Overnight guests per year: 2
Open or closed architecture: closed
Conservative or modern construction: rather conservative
Open kitchen, cooking island: no open kitchen, possibly an island
Number of dining seats: 6
Fireplace: planned in the upper left corner of the living room
Music/stereo wall: no
Balcony, roof terrace: no
Garage, carport: garage and double carport
Utility garden, greenhouse: no
Further wishes/special features/daily routine, gladly also reasons why this or that should or should not be: dressing room separated from bedroom due to very different wake-up times. Parents' area separated from children's area.

House design
Planning by:
- Do-it-Yourself
What do you particularly like? Why? Layout parents/children
What do you not like? Why? Wall thicknesses still need to be adjusted, corridor too wide, room layout partly unfavorable
Price estimate according to architect/planner: none
Personal price limit for the house, including equipment: a lot of own work possible, max. €250,000 for the house
Preferred heating technology: heat pump, underfloor heating, ring trench collector

If you have to do without, which details/extensions
- can you do without:
- cannot do without: two bathrooms

Why did the design turn out the way it is now?
Own design developed through several variants.

What is the most important/fundamental question about the floor plan summarized in 130 characters?

What optimization potential do you still see here?

The living room faces south-southwest
The entrance faces north-northeast
