No, we don’t want tiles in the hallway, living room, kitchen (even if it looks good at your place); tiles will be used in our bathroom (also 1.2 x 1.2 m here) and in the utility room.

Your comment on Wineo

Do you have a Wineo adhesive vinyl floor and are you satisfied with it?

I don't know right now who our vinyl floor is from. In any case, it is 2.5 mm of a "Heavy Commercial Vinyl Flooring for commercial use" with some emission quality certifications. It is installed glued down upstairs in the bedrooms. I don't think there are big differences in terms of feel.

I just see that our tiles were not cheaper ...

Outrageously expensive in my opinion. Sure, you have to lay it with two people, but seriously?!

Well ... the local craft business enjoys an excellent reputation for outstanding work. That's why we didn't get a second quote and my wife picked out the tiles ... :D

Happy wife, happy life!

What makes this floor so expensive, please? Serious question.

I would never lay a floor without having looked at it properly beforehand. Glued is glued. There is no right/wrong walking feeling, only yours. For example, I don’t like glued parquet because it’s too hard FOR ME. For me it’s like concrete. Someone else sees it completely differently. Personally, I also wouldn’t glue it down because I want to be able to change it at any time if necessary. Here we have laid nearly 200 sqm of floating parquet, for example, and I find that comfortable. With the glue, you won’t die either; there are plenty of other substances in the house in furniture, doors, paints, etc. It’s mainly a matter of personal perception, so I would always want to see it myself.
