Without dimensions and property:

Swap laundry room and bathroom as in #5, but you can do without the pantry if there is a basement and laundry room on the ground floor. You will then be more flexible than with two small storage rooms ;) ! Also accommodate the laundry chute in the bathroom - in the bedroom it is somewhat difficult for the children to access... or do you want the teenager to wake you up at night when she comes back from the disco? In any case, it should be centrally located and not connected to a bed frame.

You’re going to laugh yourself silly now: Our pantry, which I integrated into the small house (with a door) has...........0.52 sqm and is 2.7 m high.

The house has an even smaller footprint than yours: 8.16 * 9.96 m.

The small pantry is simply priceless and works absolutely perfectly for us (2 people). Glad we made it. Heavy-duty shelving inside – and really, weeks’ worth of supplies can be stored there + more. Even with little space, sometimes a lot can be done. Some visitors have already been amazed – because small and clever really is clever.

Best regards
Thorsten

if there is a basement, then why have the utility room on the ground floor? because of the old laundry story? if the stuff from the upper floor has to go down anyway, you can also go to the basement. without the utility room, the rooms on the ground floor all have much more space and can be arranged a bit better. doors opening towards the stairs is also not a great solution. anyone who wants to come up from outside has to enter, close the door, and then come upstairs. good luck if you want to carry things in from outside. and everyone always has to expect to get the door slammed in their face. if it is going to stay that way, DEFINITELY a door with a window...

you have to like the open style. I would find it too loud in the whole house and the heat would always rise. but it looks chic from the outside

You can also do the laundry on the ground floor - why not. But I would still put the building services and heating in the basement - if you already have the possibility.

Well, I’ve never understood the thing with the utility room in the basement. I once had it like that – and it was just annoying. To put a room you use every day in the basement, only to carry the laundry two floors up? Well, to each their own.

And a utility room as a pantry.. Always the moisture from the laundry with the supplies, that’s not good. I don’t want to grow cultures, after all.

Therefore: separate laundry from the technology and the house connections.
