I would definitely choose a front door with a fixed glass element to get more light in the entrance area.

In the living/dining room, either significantly enlarge the small window at the dining table or possibly consider a corner window.

Without views, it's hard to make a statement.

And I would consider a direct access to the living room; always going through the kitchen corner would feel more inconvenient...

The front door should be made entirely of frosted glass. In the stairwell, there is still a floor-to-ceiling window on the north side.

Views will follow.

We are still considering the windows in the living room. Thank you, best regards

Then the problem is almost solved, but I would put the garage back to its previous position (then it is easier to maneuver the garage vehicle around the other one).

Some countries leave it up to the municipality to decide how they see it.

I have not imagined any facades now, i.e., I have not compared the window positions on the ground floor/upper floor, but only looked at the floor plans.

Firstly, I would reduce the variety of window formats (for example, standardize to 113 instead of 101 and 113 cm wide) and also standardize the spacing (on the left side on the ground floor, for instance, there is once 204 cm and once 184 cm of wall section in between; also, the center lines of the French balconies above the patio door are "crooked").

When it comes to lighting, you get closer to reality if you generally calculate the lower half with the weighting "semi-transparent" (due to frosted glass, or a table in front, etc.). This probably makes the assessment that they are a bit sparse understandable.

The garage must remain as it is because with the old design you could look over the garage roof from the terrace. We found that pretty annoying. It is a slight sloping plot. Best regards

I personally would find the south side (on both floors) too sparsely windowed, but that's what headlamps are for.

Just out of interest: how much height difference does the terrain have across the entire building width/length?

I think it was asked because you plan to be 4 people and it can get a bit tight. In the mornings and so on.
I give my word that you will at least not renovate this bathroom again "in old age." Why would you? It is far too cramped down there to make it a retirement residence. Better to get a stairlift then.
