It was about hot water after all. My toilet runs on cold water, anything else would be new to me..

EDIT: I see - after all including cold water.. that's already little.

Without an external water tap, we are at about 60m³ for 3 people, which is 55 liters per person. If our child didn’t constantly feel the need to play with water, it would probably be a bit lower. I think it also depends on the daily routine. If someone is at home all day, cooks daily, etc., consumption will be higher than if everyone goes to work and eats hot meals in the canteen.

Well, I also find it very little, it has been decreasing over the past years. Since I have to read the meter myself here in the house, it of course stands out a lot. At first it was 44 cbm, then 38 and then 33. I am at home all day, the washing machine runs 1-2 times a week, the dishwasher too, the toilet has a save button, I shower every 2 days, my husband daily but only briefly, I shower a bit longer. The strange thing was that after reporting the last meter reading, two guys from the waterworks came by and said there was a pipe leak somewhere here, asking if they could check my connection... but they were only at the neighbor’s. They definitely took a look at the meter. Since we took over the water meter with 54 cbm on the counter, it must also have been recalibrated.

Ok, especially when it's so warm, I wonder how anyone can shower only every 2 days, but to each their own...
I also understand that with about 100m³ for 2 people, we are very high.
I then Googled a bit, they say 80 L is little, 80 - 120 L is normal, and over 120 L is too much.
With 45, you use almost only half of what is already considered little, we with almost 140L, of course, as already said, very much...

Especially in summer, our washing machine runs daily. Clothes for work, sports clothes, and towels, for leisure.. Bed linen.. Dishwasher almost daily as well.

But when showering, I turn off the water in between, I think I also use relatively little water there. Even if I shower twice a day in summer, I don't think it's 40L.

But I find it exemplary.. would also like to get by with so little water.

In our old apartment, the three of us (80sqm living space) had an electricity consumption of 1000 kWh per year. Every comparison calculator assumes about 4000 kWh there. Even for one person, it is more than our 1000 kWh... and I don't have the feeling that we particularly pay attention to it...

60 m³ of water should also be enough for us... but only because of the new lawn installation (approx. 500sqm).
