Laundry tower for washing machine and dryer wanted

I could imagine that it also works with a Metod cooling appliance cabinet. Then place the fixed panel so high that a tall Maximera drawer still fits inside. Above that, you could leave 50-60cm free for folding, and at the very top, a narrower board or compartment. With the mounting rail, Metod is already quite stable, but it probably still makes more noise than just on the floor, since the entire carcass then becomes a resonance body.

The drawer under the machines is intended for placing the laundry basket on it, to take everything out of the washing machine/dryer upright and fold it directly into the laundry basket.

Another question: we only have a water connection and drain for the washing machine in the utility room.

Can we tap into and use the water connection and drain for a sink (retrofit solution)?

Of course that's possible, but only with cold water. Otherwise, you have to install an electric tankless water heater. Whether you can do that, I don't know, I don't know you well enough for that...

Wastewater is not really the problem, it is actually a plug-in system. However, it depends on how they installed the washing machine connection at your place. If it is glued, it can be somewhat difficult to attach something else to it.

I can only speak from the experience of a self-built platform; I don't know the ones from Poco. Our washing machine and dryer stand at 80cm height, which is great for loading and unloading, but when filling the detergent (at about 160cm height) I have to - unless I'm wearing high heels - stand on my tiptoes a bit. It is solidly built from 7cm "beams" with cladding made of tongue and groove wood, yet my dryer still moves when the washing machine is spinning. There is an anti-slip mat underneath. The whole platform actually vibrates/shakes then. It might be due to the workmanship by my husband, who is not a carpenter, but the cabinets you showed me seem to me significantly more unstable. I would say "give it a try," but with that price I hope some other users with experience will share their opinions.
