Good morning,
Thank you very much for all the responses, I had almost suspected it. We are currently looking for what is the best solution for everyone; we are aware that everyone has to make their compromises. However, I think that both of us can benefit from living together, which does not mean that everything is always perfect. The decision is definitely firm, and we all stand behind it.
The property is very central, everything is within walking distance. However, for my father and his wife, it is much too large, hence the idea of a joint arrangement from which everyone can benefit. Maybe we are just too perfectionistic here? But I think if I invest this amount, it should work for both parties so that they feel comfortable.
[*]A two-family house with a staircase leading to the garden was discussed, but my father does not want that because he knows a family that does not use the garden in this configuration.
[*]A bungalow and a small single-family house is possible, yes, an architect has already checked that; unfortunately, this cooperation was not successful.
[*]The garden is to the north, left side west.
[*]There is an older house on the neighboring property to the west, which will also be removed,
[*]A relatively new house was built on the neighboring property to the east (also far back), meaning there would be free space in the front.
[*]The property is about 900-1000 sqm; I only know the front boundary off the top of my head because it is important regarding the building limit :)
17.5 meters wide - we could still build 22 meters deep after the 6 meters (both houses together).
[*]The older generation would like the "small private garden on the side" to be facing east; there is new construction on the neighboring property there, and everything is free at this height.
[*]We would like the living room to be on the west side but then face the problem of lacking an entrance to the house because the property to the east is occupied by the garden, and our house is planned to be about 7.0 meters wide.
[*]The division of the property will be done later according to the WEG.
[*]The bungalow should or can be attached to the single-family house, so to speak built like an L, so that fire protection distances would not have to be observed. For this, we would give up windows on the south side of our house.
I know these are probably luxury problems, but I want all of us to get the best out of it. My father and his wife can also use the back garden, but a small terrace at their own house is simply necessary.
Thank you very much!
