Drink crates and bottles? Where have you stored them at your place?

Well, that impresses me enormously! Not only the neat storage but also the diligence and inspiration behind it. Not to forget: cooked with love. I pay attention to things like that, I do it occasionally too, but I lack the time. I also think it’s great that you young folks still grow and utilize vegetables ;) Many don’t even know anymore how a tuber grows. However, as an amateur cook, I must also say: You can overdo everything. Goulash and soup are fun to make when you need them. If I develop a craving for stuffed cabbage during the day, I somehow look forward to preparing it. You, on the other hand, already have everything ready. Off topic: do you have a tip on how to best juice chokeberries?

Thank you :) Yes, work it certainly is - but also a balance to my job and the renovation work on the house. Of course, I still cook goulash "normally" - only occasionally I cook larger quantities for quick meals in between. Especially when it's going to be a long day on the construction site again. And when zucchini, pumpkin, and tomatoes are ripe, they need to be used up - making soup to can is a good option. But I wouldn't want to eat only canned food permanently.

I first freeze the aronia to reduce their harsh and astringent taste. Then simply put them in the steam juicer. They don't really give much juice, but what comes out is best diluted with water before drinking anyway.

If you have a proper xxxxxl kitchen with good storage options, you don't need a storage room. I can't understand what fears people have. But it's reassuring to know that if the Russians come, I can break into the neighbors' and steal ;)

We have a storage room or pantry and I'm glad about it. The cat has its territory there and goes to poop, eat, etc. We also store various electrical appliances and supplies there. All things we need but not daily and do not want to have in the kitchen.

The pantry is located centrally in the hallway.
