Hello,

I would also be grateful if you could simply sketch your ideas roughly if you have the time and also the desire.

It is really the case that we are thankful for all advice.

If you like the philosophy of DW, then have them plan individually for you. This house can also be planned (have it planned) one meter wider. For mom or dad, there should be an adequate room and not a small chamber with direct access through a small hallway to the guest WC, which is spacious and has a walk-in shower. Or take a comparable house from them (with a room on the ground floor) and simply attach this triangle as a dining room. DW builds using a modular system. Many things are possible as long as it is not a promotional house.

Hello YPG,

the problem is that they only start drawing once we sign that we want to build with them. But for us, it is too risky not knowing what we are getting once we have signed. The original floor plan foresees all that. The problem is that we have to rotate the house and move the entrance. Additionally, the wish is to move the utility room into the garage and have an exit at the back.

Think about awarding the first LP to an architect.

With the plans, you can then calmly start looking for a partner.

It does cost something, but you are not immediately committed.

Perhaps there are still ideas on how we can realize this house with an adjusted floor plan.

Hello,

I was just about to start writing that you have a romantic notion of the voluntary performance of the users here, when "emer" already expressed my thoughts very well.

That is the bitter pill you have to swallow when you go to bed with a cheap provider; I definitely count DW among them.

A valid objection. You can only defuse this if you obtain serious offers; not every provider—especially not the reputable ones—wants your signature before they start working for you. But you must be willing to make compromises, because that is what building a house means! And above all, you must let go of the idea of implementing the concept of a look (DW) at all costs. By doing this, you are only standing in your own way; in this manner, building will never work out, and no creative architect will be able to meet your demands.

Best regards from the Rhineland
