What I don't understand, however, is that some couples together earn as much as I do alone and still have a house?

I will now try to answer all questions:
Dental treatment, braces, glasses, etc. are covered because I am a private patient.
For my wife, dental treatment is also 90-100% covered due to supplementary insurance.
I admit, I didn't think about school time, like trips, etc., although my income will still increase by then.
She has a secure permanent job.
Also for a few years already.

So far we never had a loan, always paid everything in cash. But I know that the bank calculates some unrealistic flat amounts that we are far from meeting.
My salary is lower because, as the previous speaker said, I will change from tax class 3 to 4.

So it wasn't the financial advisor who deducted the child's costs from the wife, but me.

It is a developer, but he sells it through an agent. Agent fees are already included in the price.
However, I am only buying the land through the agent so that I don't have to pay as much tax.
I have actually summarized expenses and income together, so not split.

I recommend this thread, just updated by me... but basically exactly this topic!


So if you're unlucky, you pay real estate transfer tax on both land AND house, as well as incidental construction costs as the builder.

Thought we live frugally! But 500 euros for Hausgeld, we're only halfway through the month here. We are also three.

Hm....Well, I do think it fits, so why would the realtor deceive us and cheat us? He said they do it on purpose so that you can still buy a kitchen with the money you save.

This has nothing to do with deception. A real estate agent cannot take over the decision of the tax office. Maybe you have had positive experiences that the tax office does not yet dip into the pot?
You have now received information here. You can now ask the agent how individual questions behave in this project.
In the listing ([Euer vom Makler vermitteltes DH]) various ancillary construction costs that are included are listed. However, for example, the soil survey or earthworks are missing. Find out who is supposed to pay for that.

Excavation work is underway, only it is being stored next to (or on?) the property, so we have to dispose of it. Soil surveys, as far as I understood, are not needed because construction was also done next door and everything is fine. (But it could also be that I am completely wrong here now, so I am no longer sure)... with thousands of questions, not all answers stay in the head anymore
