Whether moving the house forward is a problem depends on the overall layout. Maybe you want to park diagonally or crosswise in front of the house, then less than 5m is enough. Or just arrange the garage and house differently

Here’s the current idea.... is 5.50 meters of remaining plot width next to the house enough for a boundary to the neighbor and two parking spaces (double garage will probably be tight.... at least a carport?)
