Generally does not mean exclusively. There are also exceptions.

However, as already said, it is not only related to controlled residential ventilation. An alternative exhaust with controlled residential ventilation has already been mentioned.

Nevertheless, it also depends on the KfW. If you want to build Kfw55, the rules will be even stricter regarding blowing out warm air or catching an additional opening in the exterior wall.

No, KFW55 does not have stricter rules there.

A carbon filter also needs to be replaced and will cost money later. The better the filter, the higher the cost... Filters that regenerate permanently and maintenance-free do not exist. With exhaust air, it is just like that, what is gone is gone... odors as well as heat.

We have seen the Berbel hood in use, interestingly it was really good even without a filter when it comes to odors. According to Berbel, the granulate must be replaced every 2-3 years, which apparently costs around €40 on the internet.

Interesting how a hood without a filter is supposed to be good, it would be interesting to know how the odors are filtered there without a filter... It was also only meant as food for thought that recirculation air does not only have advantages. Because if a recirculation hood perhaps cleans 95% of the extracted air under optimal conditions in the lab, the exhaust hood does so by 100%.
