Berbel works with centrifugal force to extract fats and only afterwards does the activated carbon ensure the binding of remaining odors. There are no greasy fat filters. The exhaust hood does not clean the air, it only blows it out. And only what it can catch, just like the recirculating hood. Sure, it is certainly more effective in terms of odors, but overall it is just a waste of energy.

A very moderate waste, considering that my hood costs not even 6 percent of the Berbel...

Although the Berbel definitely looks cool

If I hadn't gotten the display piece pretty cheaply, I wouldn't have taken it either, because (back then) over €4,000 it was not worth it to me.

But for the cost of your hood, you also have to add duct routing and wall outlet. And that's where the "beauty costs" come in for us, because that would have just looked crappy in our place.

Wall outlet costs me 150 euros plus 40 euros for the core drilling

That is probably true - but those are costs that I would always have
