As long as no fixed deadlines are agreed upon, you can make your special repayment at the end of December and right at the beginning of January.

I also believe that you can get more for your house than expected. In recent days, it has been reported that real estate prices will rise again, sometimes up to 15%.

Would you hire a real estate agent?
Or offer it yourselves?

Just a renovation would be great, would you have someone to look after the children when everything is closed again because of Corona?

With us, it is always only possible from March, so it cannot be answered generally.

The contract does not say more than "once per year." I think this means the calendar year and not a period of 12 months. But we will ask when the time comes. It is anyway only possible if we do not get the contract. Otherwise, the money would be missing in the incidental purchase costs.

Real estate agent yes or no is a good question. We sold the apartment back then without a real estate agent without any problems. However, at that time we could also better estimate the value of the apartment. Right now, the value development is so dynamic and what is sold usually goes under the table, that I am uncertain about it. And then the rules for real estate agents change from January... I have to read up on it first to come to a decision. Everything is closed here again because of Corona. SH somehow takes no prisoners about that. Although I am "system relevant," of course I cannot exploit that for a renovation. The grandparents on site are, uh... not very helpful. (They try, are kind, but are quite overwhelmed with 3 children) The appointment will take place as scheduled for now. But according to the court, that can change at any time if the lockdown is extended.

So you are really bidding with ? Do you know more now about the basement and the interior condition?

Really a bit difficult your situation.
It's a pity that it doesn't work out with the grandparents.

Oh right, something has also changed with the realtor's commission.
