How should one imagine that, how far above the "starting price" would one have to bid for that? I understood the question about the new construction costs as referring to the worst case of a complete rebuild - but I am developing from the interest in a house that may no longer be economically worth renovating (especially since one is basically "provided for" in terms of housing) the question: what makes the "must-have" of this house?

Misunderstood. I like the house and the location. Only in the past few years, I have noticed in the area around the house that some houses were demolished during a change of ownership. So I am trying, before deciding whether and how much to bid, to find out what the „worst case“ of follow-up costs might be. If a basic renovation is economically feasible, I would of course prefer that. But I think we agree that demolition and rebuilding would bring the highest possible follow-up costs.

Of course, that is possible. I would have understood that as an agreement with the bank. But who knows. In the new year, we will try to find out what is going on at the court.

Oh, yes, with only one (private) creditor that is probably possible.

You too. I don't understand the way if one is happy.

No idea :D We once saw a relatively young house that was up for auction. The general information sheet stated that ideally, you should view the property beforehand and also come to an agreement with the owner. I understood that to mean that you then pay the market value. The creditor bank certainly has to agree. The house wasn't exactly what we wanted but out of interest I left my email, basically as a terminal offer. Shortly before the auction, the appointment was canceled. I suspect that the ex-spouses then decided to sell the house normally after all. ;)
