Real income is €2870 + €262 part-time job (+ €400 child benefit).

Expenses would be
€1200 loan (not enough!)
€400 additional costs
€500 daycare
€350 cars (here the provision for a new car is even missing)
€850 food + clothing + drugstore
€150 insurance, TV license, phone, small stuff
In total €3450. Compared to an income of €3500. Sorry, but that doesn't work.

Oh really? You want a third child... one will only work part-time. I see extra costs for daycare and part-time work rather than increasing income.

Yes, for example your current BAföG income is not income but a loan that must be repaid (mostly). Also missing is a more realistic assessment both for the costs of a house and how you intend to care for another child timewise.

I also believe that you are currently somewhat confused regarding "we should actually have that much monthly" versus what you have now or what you will have, or could have. Would have, would have, bicycle chain: please only facts! What could have been never counts.

So 1. I said that when it gets concrete, I will reactivate my one employment contract:
2800+1000 and not 262+408 = 3800+408 = 4208 vs. then 3450.

2. I nowhere calculated with increasing salary and only with half-time:
2800 + after studies the reactivated contract €1200 (25h) + 408 = 4408

3. In case of a third child, my wife stays at home and gets €1800 parental allowance + I of course then full-time. €2200, that’s how much I had in 2014!!!! No step increases or anything included yet. And the contract is still signed. It is 100% AT LEAST €2200. = Again 4408€

So I never calculated with 2 full salaries. And I’m quite aware of care times. I already have 2 kids + job + full-time studies and still manage. Then calculating with 25h WITHOUT studies I actually find okay....

The third child will only come after building or buying.

I also have not estimated salaries or anything like that. I calculated exclusively the amounts owed to me according to the employment contract. I hope to find a better job. But until then I HAVE this one.

My children are, by the way, 1 and 2 years old.

I understand that we should wait a little longer. That is probably due to the current pressure of suffering. But my salary calculations are really not unrealistic. I have only included factually verifiable possible items. I wanted to know if I can manage financing with them! Since the answer from some was yes, we will start looking around. Very calmly. It all takes time until we have something. Until then, I am also 100% sure that the calculated salary will definitely flow at least.

Why no existing properties that match the income? How old are you? You won’t manage the 500k
