The construction site will be far advanced by the deadline. Why not just re-register anyway? Honestly, no one checks whether you stay there overnight or not.
Maybe you are also one of the many who have not distinguished between 90k€ or 105k€ zvE and gross income? With 2 children, you first have to have 135k€ gross to fall out there with 2 children.
Maybe you are also one of many who did not distinguish between €90k or €105k taxable income (zvE) and gross income? With 2 children, you first need to have €135k gross to fall outside that range with 2 children.
Excuse me? The household income counts.
“A family with two children may therefore earn a maximum of €105,000 per year in order to be eligible for the Baukindergeld and then receives €24,000 in subsidies. A family with 7 children may earn €180,000 gross and is entitled to €84,000 in subsidies. The verification of household income is a central part of receiving the Baukindergeld. Taxable income includes, in addition to wages, for example, holiday pay, the 13th salary, bonuses, but also unemployment benefits or parental allowance.”
And now seriously: anyone who thinks someone builds because of the Baukindergeld is really far from reality.
It used to be distant, now it is quite a popular reality: never before have so many poor wretches been induced into tense debt situations as today. Just look how often here and in other forums it is dreamed that the supposedly self-financing granny flat would bring salvation to be able to afford the place; how many special repayments are firmly planned through impending inheritances and how many Christmas bonuses are firmly budgeted to make financing calculations work, so that the line to delusional optimism is near (sometimes unclear from which side, i.e. whether it might already be crossed). If in your case it really isn’t like that, then I don’t understand the problem, then you can play with risk. Then you build the house so that it is affordable even without it, and if the extra cash comes, then you simply go on a cruise or save for the children’s education. But cases like this are not exactly rare here and in other forums where some extra cash is firmly embedded in the financing of the corner window.
In the past, this was far away, now it is quite a popular reality: never before have so many poor suckers allowed themselves to be drawn into tense debt situations like today. Just look at how often it is dreamed here and in other forums that the supposedly self-paying granny flat would bring salvation, making it possible to afford the place; how many special repayments are firmly planned through impending inheritances and how many Christmas bonuses are firmly accounted for to successfully calculate financing, that the border to deluding oneself is near (sometimes unclear from which side, i.e. whether it might already be crossed).

Then you build the house so that it is affordable even without it, and if the extra money comes, then you just take a cruise or save for the education of the offspring. But cases are not exactly rare here and in other forums where some extra money is firmly included in the financing of the corner window.
I do like your sarcastic posts... but of course we have budgeted the pocket money from mom, the child benefit, the proceeds from our firewood rental, and the sale of the mother-in-law firmly for the financing.
I had misunderstood the household income as defined on the KfW page. As correctly explained, the taxable income is taken as the calculation basis. So everything is fine.
We will now nevertheless try to squeeze a fixed date out of the general contractor. Even if it is one or two months behind the current plan. This was also a recommendation from our lawyer.
