Hope you applied for the subsidy before ordering the wallbox
Yes, I applied for it 2 months ago. As I heard, the funds are apparently exhausted. But all those who applied (and were approved) still receive the subsidy. So, lucky me. I’m going with one from SMA because the rest is also from SMA. I wanted to stay in the system. It does have 22kW, but it will probably be throttled and is therefore eligible for funding.
Back then I also found the GTE on a leasing bargain platform and then contacted some VW dealers. Only got rude offers back. Except one dealer almost next door accepted the online offer from Bavaria.
Then I’ll do it the same way. What the heck. Either yes or no. You have nothing to lose and nothing to give away.
First of all, it is very likely that you only have to file the advance notification quarterly (for one year, then annually).
I thought it was monthly for the first 2 years? Maybe I’ll have my tax advisor do all of this. He says he already has fixed appointments for other clients anyway. And the price he would charge would be peanuts. Still, it can’t hurt if I deal with it myself.
It is probably (very likely) often enough that the normal electricity consumption of the household is sufficient to absorb all the electricity from the photovoltaic system.
Can priorities be set for what gets supplied first? During the few hours of sunshine in winter, the electricity could be used entirely for the heat pump since no one is home anyway. Although, of course, I only want to run larger consumers like the washing machine and dishwasher during the day. But maybe someone else already has experience with this.
I find the property great, if only the range were greater (I drive partly 40,000 km per year).
That is probably true. My goal would be to fully charge the car over the weekend. It is not used 90% of the time on weekends. That way, I can drive to work for at least 3 days. And I can cover the rest with a carpool. For all family trips, we would use my wife’s company car.
And the leasing rates are amazing.
I might be a bit old-fashioned, but leasing was and still is basically a taboo topic for me. The idea of paying 250-300 euros per month (and that’s for a rather small vehicle) just to rent a car gives me a stomach ache. If I think about the rates for higher-priced vehicles... For me, a car is just a means to an end. Although it does have to be comfortable :-)
