Because it is an extremely cheap way to drive an (electric) car without residual value risk.

The leasing periods for the subsidy were adjusted again last year, but generally it is still politically obviously desired that it works.

By the way, as far as I know, you can also claim the BAfA bonus multiple times. So if you now lease a car with a bonus as a down payment and the subsidy fund lasts until 2025, you can also lease another car with a bonus or buy one then, if technological progress no longer advances so rapidly.

Edit: has already written it well.

Why shouldn't I be allowed to drive an electric car for little money? Tax is also 0€ for a maximum of 5 years, who was surprised when the notice came that you have a 30€/year credit, for me it was basically 0€, since normally only 27€ annual tax. As a business customer, only 0.5 or 0.25% taxation.

I had already written this the other day, the last time I refueled was shortly before the end of May. The next time will be in a few days, I think. So about 1.5 months on one tank and driven in hybrid mode. Which at the current temperatures is about 55 km according to the display.

Yes, the bonus is vehicle-related and not person-related. BUT this is a totally broken system. As a result, every 2-3 years cars end up on the used market that nobody wants because they are not eligible for subsidies and the technology is more or less outdated.

It once again represents an indirect subsidy to the automotive industry.

One can debate the sense and nonsense, but currently the registration numbers for electric cars are rising sharply.
Depending on the manufacturer, they are more or less environmentally friendly, and that is after all the goal.

I never said that either

They wanted to see a business license - that was it

That is true, but with vehicles it doesn’t weigh that much.

I wouldn’t know what, do you have any suspicion in which direction?

We would actually have to retrofit the storage. It was not an issue at the time of purchase. Actually not really now either, since I am only dealing with it a bit at the moment. Our car was a new purchase in 2014, it should last a while longer.
