I don’t want to overdo it, but from my point of view, these are all interesting variants

Thanks for your effort; I hope the dentist let you keep your last tooth. Unfortunately, mine didn't. o_O. Of course, for us, purpose and usability come first, so, as often, it’s the search for the jack of all trades :D The staircase is against the wall, practically in the middle of the room, and therefore dominant. We would like some staircases, but due to the busy overhead view, they are ruled out. Basically, it will probably be something simpler, plus (unfortunately), we also have to stretch according to the supplier’s ceiling height, which is one of the disadvantages of not building completely "freely". But that’s just how it is, and it also has advantages, which we have consciously chosen. A fine metal staircase would probably be my first choice, but it has its drawbacks in terms of walking comfort. It is also becoming clearer that, colorwise, it will probably be a strong contrast, so it is not just about matching a similar wood tone. We were thinking rather of something like this, where apparently a certain wood was stained black. We might also like something with dark wood like this or something like this: And no, you are not exaggerating; it’s fun to look at special things. Yes, that’s exactly what I thought, but the stone is a bit too "cold" for us, although it would be a good contrast in terms of material as well. I don’t like plastic materials very much, even though almost everything can technically be done with them.

If you have some cash left over, I would take a look at a bronze staircase. The material fits with any interior, and due to the oxidation, you get a unique piece of art.

Very cool - but the price should be too...

is but at the same time also an investment due to the highly traded bronze price :p :p :p If you're ever short on cash, just saw off a few steps :p

Good idea, I had also thought about rusted steel at some point among my trillions of considerations. We like this lighter kind better, that’s the advantage of steel. If it were up to me, it would be without a railing too, but people worry about me or my possibly shaky walk in the future. We have endless money.......what else o_O. No, but honestly I would, if necessary, completely give up a garage or plaster it only 2 years later or something like that as a saving measure for a fancy staircase in the living room, because I like to look at things that are in my living space.
