Click vinyl or adhesive for underfloor heating and floating screed

The recommendation is clearly to glue. We did the same with the same floor and were also advised to do so.

Bonding would probably be better because of the already mentioned heat transfer.

This is massively worsened by the air between the screed and the covering, which then results in higher supply temperatures of the heating. This is especially bad with heat pumps. I would also take a look at the manufacturer's specifications for the flooring. Very likely, it is not approved for a floating installation with underfloor heating.

Bonded floors also feel much more comfortable underfoot. Anyone who has had a direct comparison knows what I mean.

We have glued multi-layer parquet (oiled) as well as glued vinyl planks in the kitchen (both on underfloor heating).

I am facing the same question and asked about it on the Planeo page ("Vinylboden auf Fußbodenheizung verlegen").

There they told me regarding gluing, there is "no real advantage. Neither in terms of price, heating costs, acoustics, nor technical aspects."
