Flooring. Laminate, engineered parquet, vinyl? Where is the best place to buy?

With us, it definitely doesn’t go that easily (have had the floor for 10 years). Such a damp, foggy rag just doesn’t glide over the floor as easily as a wet cleaning cloth over the tiles. I find it quite exhausting!

Best regards

Have you ever looked into how tiles are cared for and what differences there are between porcelain stoneware and ceramic tiles? Every flooring requires tailored cleaning with appropriate products. So you will have to deal with this for quite some time, not just with parquet. Since I am not completely up to date: Have you actually started building or are you still planning?

Currently, the development is still ongoing. I think building will be able to start in spring 2017. Until December/January we still have time to plan (electrical, plumbing, etc.), then we want to apply for the loan (after that the house shouldn’t become more expensive by 50,000 EUR or so...).

Hm Grym, have you now been convinced by the real wood floor? I haven't so far. Of course, it's great to have a natural floor in the house, but it is a fact that wood flooring is more sensitive than vinyl, whereas vinyl can also be more harmful. How does vinyl on HDF behave in terms of the coldness of the floor? It should definitely be warmer than laminate or parquet, right? Is it really sensible to lay bamboo parquet on underfloor heating? Doesn't this wood actually contribute to the heat emission of underfloor heating, which is already slow, taking even longer? Are there any practical experiences comparing this with laminate and vinyl? Theoretically, laminate should insulate even more, right?

I would also be interested to know what it turned out to be.

@ RobsonMKK, I’m also asking where/how you get such bargains.
€60 parquet for €30...
