Click vinyl or adhesive for underfloor heating and floating screed

Except in the case of repairs. Here, glued vinyl clearly has the advantage. You remove the damaged plank, glue in a new one, and the matter is settled. With click vinyl, you first have to clear out all the furniture and click your way from one side to the damaged plank. That can be quite tedious.

That's true. But I think it would be even worse with other floor coverings (laminate, parquet, click cork, carpet). For example, we have glued parquet, which is also pushed together/clicked. There’s hardly anything you can do about that.

I am basically facing the same problem :) swimming or sticking.... we are also planning underfloor heating, physically speaking you can't really have any heat loss, right? the only thing that happens is it takes longer for the heat to reach the surface. or am I seeing this wrong?

Well, it's not quite that simple. Due to the insulating layer of air, the heat cannot always be released where it is actually intended. A higher return temperature will result, and thus the designed heating surfaces theoretically no longer quite fit. To what extent this is negligible depends on the respective design.
