I'll chime in here:
Even though we currently – and in the near future – do not have an electric car/plug-in hybrid, I would like to have 2 charging stations installed in the carport and take advantage of the €900 subsidy each. I just submitted the application for it and have already been approved.
Does that make sense so far?
We have a photovoltaic system with 9.7 kW without a battery.
In a phone call with our electrician, he said he would install the MyEnergy Zappi because it actually supports surplus charging, which would make sense in combination with the photovoltaic system.
The carport is directly adjacent to the main distribution/heat room, so he expects about half a day's work.
He will also prepare an offer for me accordingly.
Since I don't know anything about all this stuff, the question arises whether surplus charging is really that relevant or if you can comfortably do without it?
I am mostly working from home anyway; my wife will presumably be out of work for another 2 to 3 years due to having children. After that, she would start working again as a teacher. Only then would the topic of an electric car become relevant for us at all, since we would then need a second car again.
I would like to take advantage of the subsidy but don't want to invest money unnecessarily...
I would therefore appreciate a brief assessment! ;)
Thanks!
