Yes, it is passable and could therefore be considered a carport. Only the areas A4 and A5 are marked as setback areas in the site plan (see picture in the first post). These are probably the setback areas of the neighboring house wall. Our garage is planned 3.02m from the property boundary. The canopy would protrude 36cm into the associated setback area (see also picture from post 1). I am also curious about the outcome.One could imagine considering the canopy as a carport (open at front and back). However, the 9m limit is still exceeded, which again triggers setback requirements. Whether this can be freely defined, and then a transfer of setback areas arranged for the rear garage/shed, is certainly an interesting question.
