Can empty conduits always be installed without problems?

Hello,

we have a newly built semi-detached house

I wanted to have several empty conduits installed in order to retrofit a lot later.

I wanted to have 2 empty conduits installed from the roof to the basement
for: Photovoltaics
and Sat cable

And I wanted to have one installed from the basement to the garage.

I wanted to know if empty conduits can always be installed invisibly?
And I wanted to ask how expensive such empty conduits are (including installation) per running meter

Can cables be easily pulled through the empty conduits later on?

We have also had various empty conduits installed, these are mostly laid "invisibly," but I cannot tell you the cost per running meter yet. Later you can realize your plans using the empty conduits without having to tear open the walls. It is important that your planning is discussed/planned with the respective workers (electrician) before pouring the foundation or other masonry parts.

Even if it seems obvious: The electrician must of course also ensure that minimum bending radii are observed and that the conduit is not crushed, etc. - otherwise, it will be impossible to pull in the desired cables later.

Make sure that during installation a wire is laid that you can later use as a guide to pull cables. Have the bending radii made as large as possible. For long distances (more than one floor), as of today I would install an intermediate box so you only have to pull the cables floor by floor. In an installation shaft, a service hatch at an inconspicuous location is suitable where two empty conduits come together and the cables can then be pulled through one after the other. When laying in screed, pay attention to so-called armor pipes, so that they are not compressed and thus keep the cross-section effective.

Maybe you should also consider arranging a little chat with your [GU] for your questions :D

Costs can probably not be told to you here. Empty conduits are basically always possible, but I would only have them installed where I specifically plan to fill them later. I was also warned during planning that condensation can form in empty conduits and that this could lead to moisture problems. However, I did not question that in detail.
