I also didn't want to imply that yours are not perfect
In the houses I have seen so far at acquaintances and friends, the baseboards done as DIY work are however really ugly to barely acceptable.
Many builders who have a high DIY share lose motivation when it comes to the baseboards. Understandably...
I also had to learn that some people have a different understanding of quality. When you talk to them, everything is perfect, then you look at the house and almost fall backward out again. Some had recommended their tiler to us, after I bruised my big toe on the hallway tile that was sticking up a bit, I declined gratefully...
we will use skirting boards "skl 60 (2600x60x22)". These will be clipped. They have an invisible cable management system. That means you can lay a cable through and also replace it.
So we simply glued the baseboards. Using the clips probably takes forever, since a lot of holes have to be drilled. It’s not like you take them down every few months. And cables will probably remain there for many years as well.
