Ha - then the hint has already been confirmed. So the statement was not: A camera is a useless investment. It was more like - roughly: "It is questionable whether a camera is useful. I (the police officer) was once called to a burglary, there was a camera. The burglar even boldly stood in front of the camera and waved." "Furthermore, such an 'obvious' security measure might rather attract one burglar or another." (My comment: Someone who hasn't yet heard that homeowners are chronically broke immediately after building their house). Second important statement: Mechanical protection comes before electronic protection. Third statement: Consider whether you really want an opaque hedge. It's a nice thing if you are unobserved on the terrace. Also for the burglar.

The appointment was great, I received individual advice for 2 hours, then there was a 3-hour lecture with discussion. I can confirm your posts and am glad that no exorbitant additional costs are due - we have already taken some points into account. In any case, the advice from the police is highly recommended.

We have WK3 and exterior roller shutters... that didn't help either, they sawed a square hole into the exterior roller shutter, broke the glass, pressed the button of the electric roller shutter control (located next to the window in the wall about 10 cm behind the reveal, you can reach it with a long arm around the corner) and opened the window...

What annoyed me was actually only the broken roller shutter, because I'd rather have a broken window pane (even if it's triple glazed) than a broken window sash/frame due to attempted levering with a crowbar, etc...

Hello,

With a real, i.e. certified RC III window? "Normal" triple glazing is already not easy to get through, but that must have made a hell of a noise....

Rhine regards
