My conclusion: as a community of owners, spend some money and install a secure front door with a motor lock.
Thank you for this input. I do not yet know the newly emerging community of owners. I will keep the idea in mind and see if something like that can be realized.
If I remember correctly, the difference between RC2 and RC3 is only the glass, right? Multipoint locking should already be standard with RC2.
We have an RC3 door; the only difference was the glass of the side panel.
The RC2 standard door has only a single locking mechanism. The RC3 door offered has a threefold locking system. In addition, the door is thicker, has anti-lift protection, and higher sound insulation. To my knowledge, the glass in RC2 does not need to meet any requirements; in RC3, it must at least comply with P4A? The whole range of protection classes is not very clear to laypersons...
Many thanks for all contributions here. I have given it some thought and will now accept the extra cost (which, in my opinion, is not that high) simply so that we feel better. Just for a good feeling, it should probably be worth the money to us.
