Is the apartment in a hotspot? There is no such thing as burglary-proof, only deterrent. If you need it for your sense of security, go ahead. But then with automatic locking right away. The soundproofing is also better.

Ultimately, you should coordinate it with your individual situation. Is the apartment located in a metropolitan area or on the ground floor? For little money or usually already as standard, you get cylinders with drill protection, although this happens less nowadays because the skilled labor shortage is also clearly noticeable in this industry. No one kicks in an apartment door; in most cases, they pry it open. That is exactly what I would have shown to me on the door and try to prevent precisely and only that. Often, such security packages also include things you don't even need but pay for expensively. Protection against or strong deterrence of prying open should be sufficient.

since you are worried about it, upgrade to RC3. You feel safer and sleep better, even on vacation. Buy a manufacturer label of a well-known brand door and stick it on the outside. The burglar moves on to an RC2 door.

Make it dependent on where you live and what kind of sense of security you need. Nowadays and in the future, bad people come right to the top of their victims' living areas, sneaking in, officially disguised, or by ringing the doorbell ;) Whether your house or you are even in the spotlight is another matter.

I have experienced something like this before. I was going home for the weekend. The following Monday, the door was kicked in and the valuables were gone.

It could only have been someone from the house. Who else would know that I’m not there every weekend?

Nice neighbors.

The unpleasant feeling lasts a long time.

But I didn’t panic anyway. Because if someone wants to get in, they will. So the door was repaired and that was that.

The best door is worth nothing if the frame doesn’t fit.

Right, and the more expensive the door, the greater the damage. Better to have as few valuables as possible in the apartment and protect them somehow differently (GPS) if possible.
