thanks for the feedback. Yes, the cervical spine still worries me a bit. We would still plan an attic storage room during the roof conversion. The house is supplied by district heating, so the technology remains minimal. Possibly a buffer tank needs to be accommodated, otherwise "only" water, electricity, media. I’m attaching the current plan. We are at 135 sqm living space and would do the roof conversion ourselves.

Would it perhaps be sensible to design the floor plan also with "expandability" in mind?
so that you could reasonably add two or three rooms (or a "retirement cottage") next to it in case of need in 10 or 30 years?

No. It is made of wood with Knauf insulation inside, boards on top to walk on, drywall below as the ceiling. Why would a bungalow need a concrete ceiling?
