In terms of standard, we are actually already 20 years ahead...

Yes, but you have to be able to afford that. You can’t complain today that you can no longer afford a house, but a house without underfloor heating and electric blinds is out of the question.

Me too. I also find it a bit misplaced to come with a house over €300,000 when the original poster probably has to calculate tightly. Similar with us: in northern Germany, not everyone has shutters, maybe it’s 50/50. I was also laughed at here in the forum during our house build because we only have manual shutters on the ground floor and the southern bedroom. yeah, the straps look bad, but you can learn to ignore them. By the way, we also don’t use them anymore, at least not at night! That probably goes hand in hand with Town & Country with gas… and anyone building with a gas heater now has missed something. We’re writing at the end of August 2022: You are probably using it incorrectly. There should basically be a pleasant warmth when it is on. Moreover, the usual habits back then were energy-wasting (turning it up and down/on and off, misusing it as a dryer) and should be reconsidered anyway, even if you have radiators. You also drive a vehicle energy-consciously in everyday life, even if you could abuse it. Acting energetically thoughtlessly is a step backwards. You should think about that instead of mourning it.

The OP is not complaining! He doesn't have to follow the exaggerated advice anyway ;)
He probably can't either. The person who comes here with an Audi instead of a Skoda hasn't quite understood empathy either.

This is now the long version of the mentioned standard…(it’s fine…)

You really have to distinguish here. Electric blinds are a luxury; you can live quite well without them. Manual blinds for shading are not absolutely necessary, but you would probably regret having saved on that when the next hot summer comes and you have to implement shading indoors. Radiators mean high flow temperature, which complicates things for the heat pump. And as Yvonne said, anyone who is still planning with gas today hasn't got the message and is setting themselves up for a Pyrrhic victory of the highest order. The heat pump will inevitably have to come anyway when the gas heating breaks down in 10 years, so you might as well do it properly with underfloor heating right away.
