Why did you do it? No, the contract says December 31, 2022. Now I ask from the contractor’s perspective: Why should I finish earlier than what you explicitly signed in the contract? If it was so important to you, dear customer, why didn't you say so and we would have included it in the contract? Feel free to get legal advice, but the contract = the written agreement is clear.

How is August 2022 supposed to be completed if there isn't even screed in yet? The drying takes about 4-6 weeks. And the rule is that after the screed is poured, it takes about 3 more months. So you could expect December and can safely cross out August.

There are screeds which are walkable after a few days. But they cost.

I do not assume that this screed is included in the contract  Screed alone is not everything. As I said, nothing will happen before December. Prepare yourselves for that.

Electricity for fan heaters cost us a few thousand euros... I just wanted to suggest that this option could also be considered. Calculate the rent for a few months against it and it fits again.

Has anyone in this forum addressed this question so far? Unfortunately, some good forum members who could have contributed better to clarifying this are no longer present. Early house acceptance is not necessarily advisable - without professional support. What contact do you have with your site manager? He is actually the one coordinating the resources. Maybe you can also find out in a conversation where it is currently lacking? Staff, materials, etc. Otherwise, I would start looking for an apartment. Unfortunately, you don’t get sympathy as someone building a house and it just takes longer. That’s just how it is. Maybe there is a way to store furniture etc. in a room in the new house. And if the floor in this room is installed later, it doesn’t matter – at least the screed has plenty of time to release moisture.
