In another forum, architects and others discuss whether the screed needs to be removed in a cellar that has been almost 20cm deep filled with feces. Many share the opinion that it is not necessary, as drying removes the nutrient base for the feces. It can be assumed that there is no odor nuisance.

Why am I exaggerating? That was a question. And I think you can ask yourself that question in this context. If that is unrealistic – fine, then I am relieved.

I don't think the question is stupid either. Prevention is better than vomiting on your feet.

That is unappetizing. I would wash it off the wall. In my opinion, there is no need to worry about the rest due to small quantities. Just think about how long it takes for intense exposure on a stable wall. Once is not a time. The most important thing is to wash it off between the ears.

Best regards

If the acceptance has not yet taken place, write it into the protocol!

An acquaintance once bought a single-family house at an auction, where an animal hoarder lived with about 25 dogs without the possibility to go outside, so many corners were soaked with urine and the parquet floor had feces stains. After nearly half a year and a lot of trying, the screed and the plaster came off because it still smelled unbearable...

Don't make an elephant out of a mosquito. Peeing once in the corner with 25 dogs, who probably had been doing it there for years, is so not comparable. In our case, the grouters peed in the future bedroom. That bastard did that in almost every house in the new development area. Antisocial, but so unimportant. Nowhere were there any consequential damages. So don't crap yourselves over this trifle or do you renovate the whole house immediately if the toddler missed the diapers/toilet?
