Attic conversion with a 25-degree hip roof - a sensible project?

So I would also expect significantly higher costs for the attic conversion, and then these three pipes also bring additional restrictions. The questions regarding the floor plan would be: 1. What is the function of the room at the top right corner? From left to right, it is Bedroom 1, Bathroom, Bedroom 2, and then the other room. 2. What is the function of the room in the middle at the bottom? The left room is probably the kitchen, right? And the one next to it? Size? In theory, you could then consider the three bedrooms upstairs, and then the question would be whether to open up the kitchen and "separate" at the bend of the wall to create an additional room (pantry and utility room). Next to it then possibly the room as an office/guest room. But since no measurements are visible, it’s all a bit uncertain. And the question is whether the compromises wouldn't be too big!?

Yes, exactly, those are daylight spots.

We would plan the staircase in the middle of the house, where the attic access (attic hatch) currently is. Our idea would be to install a spiral staircase with a diameter of 140-160 cm.

Have fun trying to get the furniture up there. This also applies to all the building materials for the renovation.

As a person rather unskilled in craftsmanship, at this point one probably lacks the imagination. A large dormer wouldn't help either?

So, here it can be seen more clearly.

Since the house has very nice features when it comes to flooring and so on, we would be reluctant to move walls and destroy this great condition. We like the downstairs as it is. We would like to sleep downstairs and have, besides bedroom, bathroom, office, and utility room, an additional guest room. For the kids, we would find two rooms upstairs with a small shower bathroom ideal.

From the general feedback here, however, our project does not seem as easy to implement as we had hoped. I had imagined that a spiral staircase in the hallway (in the middle of the building at the wider spot) would actually fit well. And a large wide dormer upstairs should solve the problem with the 25-degree roof pitch, shouldn’t it? But we have no experience in building/conversion and are therefore a bit lost right now :/
