Looks pretty good already. What is the dishwasher standing on now?
We dismantled a tall cabinet for the dishwasher......
measured down 1m from the top for the desired door, cut off the carcass.
Inserted the inner bottom at the very bottom and additionally screwed it from the outside.
Put a spacer at the lower edge. Hung it on the rail.
From the rest of the tall cabinet, subtracted the height of the dishwasher and cut accordingly.
Inserted a heavy-duty shelf inside at the top of the lower part and screwed it again from the outside.
Painted the cut surfaces and put some kind of "armor tape" or similar on it.
At the top cutting edge, there is also the moisture barrier of the dishwasher on top.
At the bottom, we will still put an edge protector for a fitting strip on it.
On the left, everything is screwed to the next cabinet.
On the right, a cover panel hides everything. The carcass was also screwed with it.
Make sure the screws are not too long.
There is a 1m door on top.
The dishwasher has an 80cm front mounted on "sliding rails".
At the bottom, there is a tall drawer with a 40cm front.
This covers the 1.6cm by which the dishwasher is higher than the 80cm front.
Because of the Bodbyn front – which is slightly beveled – we didn’t have to cut, bevel, or fix anything. All the doors work perfectly.
