In the meantime, quite a lot has happened. I got 2 quotes from kitchen studios................ no really.......... you won’t believe it. Of course, it costs more, I already knew that. Still, I wanted to have it in black and white. But with those amounts, I no longer see any proportion, it’s just not worth it to me. Although the assembly costs wouldn't be that high, having Ikea "assembled" would cost significantly more. Just for carcasses that don't look better quality-wise and don’t feel better....... likewise for fronts......... paying three times as much at a mid-range manufacturer Without a comparable Ikea warranty..... So the final decision has now fallen in favor of Ikea. I am in the process of revising my plans again. The details are not quite right yet. Besides, I am not ordering according to the information from the Ikeaplaner, but have created individual notes for myself. Especially like now, for example, for the kitchen machine cabinet I have a separate note, so that I can also trace during assembly which of the many boxes/individual parts are for the cabinet. It should make the assembly a bit clearer, easier.

I feel you... We were sent away by the studio with our budget specification of 3000-4000 euros (including appliances). I found THAT shocking!

Regarding the Blanco sink, what goes underneath in the cabinet? I was put off by the long siphon so far, because I wouldn't be able to fit any trash in the 40-high drawer anymore.

I ordered my kitchen yesterday, without a sink BUT with 2 deep drawers in the cabinet.
So 80 wide, 40 high, and !!! 60 deep.
My husband says the connection will easily fit - since I have extra depth there.
So I have 20cm of space behind the sink cabinet - where my husband can install a siphon.
(He has been trained in that)

Meanwhile, the Ikea delivery has arrived. The room is finished so far. Old kitchen out....... floor and wall tiles out....... doors and frames gone...... leveling done. Sliding doors and partition wall in...... floor done...... kitchen assembly has begun.

Yes, it takes time...... a kitchen assembly definitely has its quirks. All cabinets "in water"...... electrical appliances in....... somehow everything is crooked. The corrections cost us almost a whole day. Although, dishwasher in the tall cabinet, refrigerator with 120cm front instead of Ikea specification 140cm front and drawer below. So quite a few special modifications that of course also took some planning and implementation time.

For that, I can show you a few pictures: Partition wall in front of the sliding doors and the new floor is also somewhat visible.

Behind the 120cm door is the 122cm high AVKYLD hidden.

That went much easier than expected. 100cm door on top, 80cm dishwasher Skinhade with sliding hinge and below a 40cm drawer. We did not have to adjust the fronts.

Tomorrow it continues with the window side, handles and well, everything else.......
