In my contracts (from 2013, three in total) there is always a reference to the entry paragraph into the cascade. They must have changed that at some point.

What does that mean??? Just found someone in my circle of friends who has paragraph 492 included and financed quite expensively ... he will be happy in the current situation ... with 2 children and short-time work ..

We would have been happy too. In 2017, we financed with significantly worse financial conditions and therefore with quite high interest rates. We also missed out on [Baukindergeld]. But well, you can't always be lucky.

Consumer loan 2019 - With paragraph 492 and mortgage financing 2017 without.

I have now watched the video completely. One of the lawyers explicitly quoted the sentence as it is, so that a revocation is possible. In my loan agreement from early 2015, it is stated exactly like that.

Title: Withdrawal Information

Right of Withdrawal

The period begins after the conclusion of the contract, but only after the borrower has received all mandatory information according to Paragraph 492 Section 2 of the Building Code.

means for me: call the Sparkasse on Monday and make an appointment.. Let's see what comes of it..

It would be great if we try to stay on topic and not argue about who deserved what.

Maybe those who are already conducting further investigations etc. could report here on what came up.

For me personally, it would probably be best to revoke the contracts in 1 to 2 years if I want to get out of them. Until then, I will probably keep a low profile. But it would be good to know what options there are and what consequences the revocation has.
Do I actually get all the interest paid back? Or do I just get out of the contract without a prepayment penalty?

I am curious to see how it continues.

I am curious! In my opinion, the old problem from a few years ago, which some lawyers made a killing from because everyone thought they were affected, has simply been brought up again. Clearly, with the current slump, one has to see how to get the crowd thinking about other things again.
