In my contract with [Sparkasse], the instruction is formulated crystal clear without references. And from 2017. I would have wished it differently now, I could save a lot of money.

I understand banks and brokers, but not notaries. Could you please explain it to me? I have perceived notaries as very correct, pleasantly sober people; I never had the feeling that a notary exploited my ignorance or lack of experience or wanted to take advantage of me.

Notaries are not allowed to either. They are obliged to explain in detail everything you are signing. It's just crazy how much money they get for that.

However, I agree with Bookstar when it comes to brokers and banks. When I look at what banks distribute to whom, it makes me sick. Simply to meet the internally set targets. They are miles away from proper advice. That's why I immediately checked my contract.
With KfW I still have 1.49% and with Sparkasse 2.03%. I would have liked to have both renewed. Well, so what...

And brokers too.. Not just real estate agents, but also insurance agents, etc. Anyone who assumes they advise neutrally or in the customer’s interest is very much mistaken.

Just checked, there is not a single paragraph included in our cancellation information. I will leave it at that regarding how accurate the wording "almost all..." is.
