Then they submit the instruction correctly afterwards and you still have 14 to respond.

That is stated exactly like that in mine, too. DSL 2015, but with 3 more examples.

The KFW loan has a reference to EU law, which seems to be allowed.

Why do you want to wait another 1-2 years?

I did a bit more research now. Apparently, in the case of a cancellation, all paid interest is also refunded. Therefore, banks should now react very quickly on their own and issue a contract amendment or something similar, otherwise every borrower to whom this applies can wait until the end of the fixed interest period, then cancel and get all the paid interest back.

hmm interesting.

Apparently, it only concerns contracts from June 2010 to March 2016 according to various news sites. Exactly during this period, the wording was standard.

I strongly doubt that you get the interest back. At least in my more recent contract, it is explicitly stated that I have to pay all interest between disbursement and revocation accordingly.

My contracts from 2015 fall exactly within that period

According to the WBS law firm, it is indeed the case that you get the interest back, even if the contract explicitly states that already paid interest is not refunded upon revocation. Apparently, this was regulated by the legislator...

Of course, one can claim a lot when trying to attract customers. On what grounds should one get the paid interest back on a loan amount that was demonstrably made available? That makes no sense at all.
