First of all, the warming is certain. What one does with it and to what extent one thinks one should participate in it is the question.

One problem with warming is, among other things, that it not only makes it warmer but paradoxically can initiate the next ice age by tipping the major ocean currents. So the equation warming = good does not fundamentally apply.

Why it still should not make a difference how much emission of certain gases one strives for is still awaiting a good argument. Only when the market regulates it instead of the state, is it okay? Or how does the story go?

Or is it about the fact that all this is not so important?
