Hmm, does the staircase fit? It only looks about 300 cm long on the ground floor. I'll link again: It should be 360 cm. EDIT: And, isn't a bay window only allowed to exceed the building boundary on about 1/3 of the length of the house?

Hello again,

I found a floor plan online that I found quite appealing.

Unfortunately, it also has the entrance on the long side but offers a straight staircase, one more room, and a spacious hallway.

Please let me know what bothers you about it and if you perhaps have ideas on how to place the entrance on the short side after all.

I don't understand the problem: place the two rooms on the left side according to the plans, keep the kitchen wall, and adjust everything... then you will have your entrance on the short side.

I think the rather nice entrance area gets lost because of this.

Which beautiful entrance area? You want an entrance from the short side?!!! Then you will have to/can live with such an arrangement somehow... I don't really know what you mean by 'beautiful' either. It's okay like this, a bit of finish and basics (stairs for example)...

I am not approving this floor plan now, but I just don't see your problem.
