Be careful with the chickens; legally, for private keeping, they need at least 4-5 m² of outdoor space per chicken and at least 1.5 m² of coop size. A friend of ours was just sent by the veterinary office for this.

And something big is coming up at the beginning of February: children's room 2.0. The furniture is bought, now waiting for delivery to assemble. And at my age, to better understand the room layout, I fiddled a bit with movable furniture templates.

There is a development plan. And since we are ordinary, average people, we build ordinarily and averagely, nothing special. The most special thing nowadays are the shutters, which we can do without if necessary.

Friends of ours had their building permit, while ours was still in the unprocessed pile.

We had received the building permit, when the excavator showed up at our friends’ place.

The most important thing is the registration with the animal disease fund and proof of quarterly vaccination against ND. Fresh water and food must always be available, as well as a dust or sand bath and a dry shelter at night.

Suggestion regarding the chicken coop: If possible, it should be large enough to comfortably stand/work inside. Neighbors have a very stylish coop, but cleaning it is a hassle. I could generally imagine having chickens... but first a fence around the entire property is needed.
